A Few Ideas

Some Ideas I was thinkin of for the site is as follows:

-A topic to post our gamertags

-A possible staff section to post staff related things and issues

-A twitter, myspace, and facebook account as well as a youtube page.

-We have a fun and games section to post forum games and stuff

-We have awards for people that help recruit or that help the faction alot, and when the game comes out, awards for people who win or accomplish somethin big online, but it needs to be documented.

-A member VIP section that the staff can't see.

-All of us should get MSN or AIM and have occasional faction chats, cause not everyone uses the chat room, plus its hard to tell when a new reply comes in.

-Have our own T-Shirts/Clothes we can wear in real life to advertise this place and tell people about our gaming community and how we strive to be the very best faction.

I don't have any more ideas at the moment, but yea, that's the jist of it.

-Gamertag thread already in the introduction section

-I will create the staff section once forum content has filled up

-Twitter, Myspace, and facebook are all responsibilities of the media manager. I will send you a rough outline of what I want to accomplish with those tonight. I will handle the youtube page.

-The forum games will be introduced after we fill the content

-You will see under your name (once you hit a specified post limit) something that says "Superstar points". That is the point system we are using for achievements. We will hold various contests based off of that points system for members. It's a simple reputation points system with points being awarded for activity primarily, but I can allocate points to people for accomplishments. I will go ahead and create a page so everyone can see what is worth what though. I will probably change the name of the points system but it will function the same.

-Never have seen success with a VIP section that staff can't see, but a VIP section that non-VIP members can't see is a possibility. That will have to be earned though so that will have to wait until we have a strong base.

-Agreed with the chat concept, that should be a necessity.

-The clothing idea falls into that merchandise store I was telling you about, but we need some graphics. Make me an advertising graphic for a t-shirt!

These are all great ideas, but for the most part fall into those "loose ends" I was telling you about. That being said, if you want to start on those accounts that would be great, just send me the links in a PM and I'll get them plastered up somewhere.

Alrighty, just let me know how you want the facebook myspace and twitter pages and I will get to it. Here is a nice big advertising graphic for T-Shirts, I re-did our logo to make it alot more appealing:

They are both full blown logos able to be easily applied and pasted to a shirt or any other form of clothing.

They look great, but the svr 2010 game logo is copyrighted so the merchandise companies wont accept it. Can you take that out and generalize it a bit?

There we go, I like that first one. Just onemore thing, if you remove the red background and just make it the skull and text it will clean it up a bit and save a ton of money.

That will work, looking at it on my pc instead of my phone the red ones actually should work too, my phone distorted it i guess.

Those diagonal lines coming from the center are a watermark aren't they?

For some reason when I try to copy the images or use them elsewhere all of the layers show up?

About the layers or the lines?

The layers, the lines I tried to blur out.

I'm not sure what the problem is but it gives me a blotchy red background.

Try using this site's hosting service to post a pic. Just click on the square that has a picture and a disk on it in the tool bar.

EDIT: Thats even worse for me, imageshack shows up fine though and when I try photobucket it shrinks the image.

Depends on what you want, but I think the regular old t shirt will go for around 20 bucks.
